Brand Strategy & Overview

Visual Identity & Logo System

Visual Identity & Logo System

The foundation of the rebrand was built around the museum's core purpose: creating opportunities for children to learn through exploration and play. The visual system was designed to communicate curiosity, creativity, confidence, and community engagement. Every design decision supports the museum's mission of making learning interactive, approachable, and fun for children of all backgrounds.

The logo development process began with concepts inspired by childhood activities, science, transportation, and basic geometric forms. Through multiple iterations, the identity evolved into a flexible mark composed of colorful interconnected shapes that symbolize imagination, creativity, and the connections formed through learning. The final system includes both primary and secondary logo variations optimized for print, digital, and mobile applications.

Typography

Color Palette & Pattern Language

Typography plays a major role in establishing the museum's energetic and approachable personality. Inter Black is used for headlines and key messaging, while Inter Regular supports readability across longer content. The type system was selected for its modern appearance, accessibility, and ability to maintain clarity across a wide range of applications, from posters to digital interfaces.

Digital Experience & User Interface

Color Palette & Pattern Language

A vibrant color palette and playful pattern system help create a recognizable visual language that appeals to children while remaining polished and professional. The colorful geometric shapes found throughout the identity reinforce themes of exploration, creativity, and inclusivity. These elements work together to create consistency across branding materials while adding energy and movement to the overall experience.

Marketing & Event Applications

Digital Experience & User Interface

Digital Experience & User Interface

To demonstrate how the identity functions in real-world use, the brand was applied to a promotional campaign for "Mess Fest," a museum event centered around creativity and self-expression. Through iterative design exploration, the final poster evolved into a bold and immersive piece that captures the event's playful nature while remaining aligned with the broader museum brand. This application showcases how the identity can effectively communicate events, attract visitors, and strengthen community engagement.

The rebrand extends into digital spaces through website and mobile concepts designed to create a seamless user experience. The website emphasizes accessibility, event discovery, membership information, and museum resources, while the mobile experience mirrors the visual language and navigation of the desktop platform.
